After the vacations, it's time to get back into your sports and yoga rhythm at Black & White Community. We've put together some tips for you so you can get back to work full of energy. To start, it's important not to overwhelm yourself. Start slowly and build up gradually. At Black & White Community, we offer several sports and yoga classes, so choose a class that suits your level and interest. Whether you want to participate in an intense bootcamp or prefer to relax with a quiet yoga session, there is something for everyone.

 
To best support your body, it is also important to pay attention to your nutrition. At Black & White Community, we believe in a healthy and balanced lifestyle, including plant-based nutrition. Plant-based foods can help you in increasing your energy levels and providing your body with all the nutrients it needs.
 
Here are a few plant-based nutrition tips you can follow:
1. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. These are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that your body needs to function properly.
2. Choose whole grain cereals. Whole grain cereals such as quinoa, brown rice and whole wheat bread are a good source of fiber and give you long-lasting energy.
3. Add legumes to your meals. Legumes such as beans, lentils and chickpeas are rich in protein and fiber, making them a good choice for athletes.
4. Use healthy fats. Avocados, nuts, seeds and olive oil are good sources of healthy fats that your body needs for proper functioning.
5. Drink plenty of water. Hydration is essential for good sports performance, so make sure you drink enough water throughout the day.
 
So pick up your exercise and yoga routine again at Black & White Community and combine it with healthy plant-based foods to best support your body and mind. Enjoy the energy and fun that exercise and yoga will bring you!

Green smoothie

A favorite of Babs, the green smoothie. A green smoothie is packed with vitamins, antioxidants and minerals. Here is an easy recipe for a refreshing green smoothie.
 
Ingredients:
- 1 handful of fresh spinach
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 green apple
- 1 handful of fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup coconut water (or plain water)
- Optional: a dash of lemon juice for extra freshness
 
Instructions:
1. Wash the spinach and mint leaves thoroughly.
2. Cut the banana and green apple into pieces.
3. Place all ingredients in a blender.
4. Blend everything on high speed.
5. Taste the smoothie and add some lemon juice if necessary for extra freshness.
6. Pour the green smoothie into a glass and serve immediately.
 
You can also experiment with other ingredients, such as cucumber, celery, ginger or a handful of berries, to customize your green smoothie to your taste. Enjoy your refreshing and nutritious green smoothie!
